Beautiful new pieces fro Khadi and Co. are trickling online this week! Shown above is a beautiful strappy top and high waisted cotton pleated pants. These pieces are great together - we can see it with Repetto ballet flats or espadrilles and a straw hat! A sneak peek at a finished piece by Don Carney, our dear friend who's new collection of pen and ink drawings we will be showing this Friday night at our 20th Anniversary Party! Don has been working away, sharing photos with us as he has been going along in the creation of this collection. And on our end, we have been preparing the wall it will go on and getting ready to celebrate with you all this Friday night! We hope to see you <3 The party starts at 6, there will be music by Naïm Amor, drinks, treats! We can't wait! 

Chloe wears the beautiful new rounded collar jacket by Apuntob and matching cotton/linen trousers <3 We love this as a Summer suit - it's light in both color and weight, comfortable, and very flattering on. The jacket has a really nice fit - with a bit of a swing out towards the bottom. We love the collar as well! We have this available in three colors, as we think it is such a great piece. There is also a marine blue that also has matching trousers and a red that is made of a different and beautiful fabric. You can see them all in our wardrobe section <3

The beautiful Runaway Bicycle dresses and blouses. These have a really easy fit - most people can wear both sizes. They're easy and beautiful at the same time... and they bring such a vibrant splash of color to the day! Ready for Summer <3

Don Carney, working away on his new collection for our show and party on April 19 <3 Don has been drawing the natural world since his childhood - it's his biggest source of inspiration. He started to hone his artistic sensibility while studying illustration and painting at the Art Institute of Boston before moving to New York City where he worked as an illustrator for fashion design clients. Shortly after moving to New York, Don met his partner John Ross and together they founded Patch NYC with a small collection of hand-detailed bags, scarves and hats made by John's mom. Bergdorf Goodman ordered this first collection as well as Barney's... and soon their design studio was flourishing with orders from around the world. It's so fun to think of these wonderful days of retail - when Barney's was really exciting to visit and there was always a sense of discovery with all the special things they would find and carry.... Patch's work was part of that! Today Don collaborates with Astier de Villatte, West Elm, Miriam Haskell, Monoprix France, Antoinette Poisson, Fragonard.... the list goes on! Part of what we love so much about what Don and John do is their constant inspired state... always looking, always creating. And you never know what they will dream up next. This new collection of artwork by Don feels so exciting for us - and also nostalgic at the same time. My mom has one of Don's beautifully framed ink drawings in her living room, and I have one of his stitched pieces he used to make with his mom in my home. We have had various series of works by Don at the shop over the past 20 years that we have felt honored to share with you. In the photos above, you can see the frames from Don's collection - he works with these to create the drawing that will go inside. And together, once all the pieces are framed, they look incredible together. We love them mixed with vintage artwork, and they can also go modern. This finished collection is going to be a special one, we can tell! Can't wait to share it with you so soon <3
