Our favorite mohair socks for Fall and Winter. These are just lovely and the colors are wonderful. We think these also make great gifts - either on their own or with a pair of moccasins, wool leggings (these also just arrived), or a pair of pajamas. The colors also look beautiful with the handwoven wool throws in natural colors in our home section.
A favorite shirt of ours is Pip Squeak Chapeau's boy shirt - in both the regular length and the long version. This shirt has a great fit and can be worn many different ways. We love to wear it with jeans and a pair of Repettos. Pip Squeak Chapeau was able to make more for us - in both white cotton batiste and a wonderful midnight linen. We have these two colors in both the regular and long lengths. We have just received them and added them to our wardrobe section online. Skylar wears the midnight linen long boy shirt in the photos above. We love it with the Apuntob trousers in sueded cotton and black patent Repetto jazz shoes. She holds a different plaid throw in each photo. Along with these shirts, Pip Squeak also made us more of the beautiful petal collar shirt in white cotton batiste. It is also in our wardrobe section online.
We continue to be open Wednesday through Sunday, 12 to 4. You do not need an appointment to come by during these hours. If you do prefer a private appointment, you can do that in the footer of our website where it says "Book". Our appointment times are 11 to 12 Wednesday through Saturday. It has seemed a bit confusing for everyone, so we will continue to post our hours here and there. It is also listed correctly on google :)
As we prepare for the holidays, we are getting ready with shipping, wrapping, etc.... we want to make it fun and special for you. We have been very lucky to have our good friend Skylar who is also pictured above - join us at the shop. She has been learning how we ship so that as the holidays approach, she can help us with that. We so appreciate every single order that comes our way and we want to make sure they get to you quickly, and beautifully wrapped. We plan to put out a special holiday selection online this year for the first time. This will be our 16th holiday season at our shop- we know it is a very different year, but it's still important to make things special and fun. We will continue to share with you when new things arrive, because it is also exciting for us - we hand pick everything for our shop, and we pick it because we love it. We like to share these new things in ways that mean something to us - showing the way we would wear something or use it. We will continue doing this and we hope you enjoy looking :) And please remember that if you ever have any questions about anything - please don't hesitate to contact us either by phone or email. I answer our emails and my mom and I both answer the phone. Our good friend Ginny works on Thursdays and Sundays - so if you call those days, she is happy to help also. We are here if you need us, and in the meantime, we hope you are all well and taking good care! <3

The beautiful handmade flower candles from Mexico are back at the shop :) These make great gifts and add so much to a room or table. There are nine different colors to choose from. We have updated them in our home section online. We show them here with blue gingham tablecloths/throws and lovely pieces by Astier de Villatte.
Useful, pretty pieces for the table and kitchen. It feels good to set a nice table, to sit down with family and celebrate the day. The little things we do can mean so much and bring memorable moments. We can set the tone with the care and attention we take in creating an inviting space - one that beckons those in its midst to linger for a while. <3
