A stunning blouse! This makes us think of all our favorite antique European chemises <3 From start to finish, this is made with such care and beauty. The cotton alone is made, spun and woven to order in Italy. From there, the construction is made to last - the flat felt seams give it this durability. And the style - this has beautiful small embroidered ruffle detailing along the neckline and cuffs. It has mother of pearl buttons partway down the front of the blouse. The back has two pleats at each side. This style is a bit longer than the other A'Court styles, hitting around the upper thigh. It has been lightly washed for to add to its heritage look. It looks beautiful with faded jeans and the Contre-Allée mary janes... we also show it tucked into the wonderful Nicholson & Nicholson curvy pants in navy. 

Fit - This is fitting true to size. We recommend getting your usual size for the intended fit. The important measurements are below -

small - shoulder to shoulder - 15.25", underarm to underarm - 22.5", length - 26"

medium - shoulder to shoulder - 16.25", underarm to underarm - 23.5", length - 27"

large - shoulder to shoulder - 17.25", underarm to underarm - 24.5", length - 28"

We are very excited to welcome A'Court to our shop this year! Founded by renowned designer Rebecca Taylor, this beautiful collection is fueled by a passion for historical craft combined with a modern sensibility. It began after Rebecca moved home to New Zealand in 2020 with her husband, artist Wayne Pate and their three children. We love this collection as it feels like a fresh take on our favorite antique European blouses and dresses. The pin tucks, the cotton lace, the pleats at the sleeves - such lovely details with a feminine quality. And how fun to think of the process of creating a new collection amidst a lot of change and new (old) surroundings. Sometimes those moments bring us to our best!
