Weeeee! We are open today until 5... closed tomorrow for Thanksgiving, then open Friday and Staurday- 9 am to 6 pm. We hope you all have a wonderful holiday. We are beyond thankful for all your support over the years. We count our blessings all the time- to be able to continue what we love to do and both know and work with such wonderful people is the biggest gift. <3
After many requests, we have a new batch of these beautiful Repetto mary janes on their way to our shop. We have made them available for preorder on our website- here.
This time of year feels so magical... the twinkle lights and fanciful decorations come out, the little ones are excited, and the rest of us are too- thinking of the people we love, and spending time with them. For us at the shop, we are surrounded by all these things all day long- it's a really special time. We are constantly excited opening new boxes and seeing the treasures inside... to then share them with you is a huge part of the fun. These sweet, beautifully made felt ornaments are a new addition to our holiday goodies and they are so incredible. The company that makes them works with women in developing countries around the world as a way to save their traditional crafts and also support them. These are handmade, down to the tiny stitching that holds them together. When you can see these beautifully finished details, it makes all the difference! Aside from the way they're made, they are wonderful little characters- Robin Hood, St.Francis, a French artist, a baker, a fisherman, a sheperd... etc... we have a little collection!
We hope you are all having fun getting ready for Thanksgiving :) We will be open an extra hour- both Friday and Saturday this week. Our hours will be 9 am to 6 pm both days! Come visit and see all the treasures :)
Treasures for the little ones... art supplies- stamps, stamp pads, holiday stamp sets, blank tags, sketch pads and spiral bound art books... and fun paper mache masks!
The sweet felt artist is a wonderful felt ornament... we will be sharing more of these in another post. They are beautifully handmade.
W have just received beautiful new jewelry pieces from British designer Grainne Morton. We are in love with her work- Grainne uses all antique pieces that she then sets into gold. Because all the pieces are antique, no two are alike... we love that each earring is different.
